I’m glad Farkas went to prison, but this does not compensate people like me who saved up our entire lives to buy a house, only to have it snatched away. Is there any way that a civil suit can run on behalf of us little people victims of this man? Can those luxury cars and vacation homes be sold at auction and the proceeds divvied to us? This man ruined my credit, left me homeless, and tore away my faith in the American way of life.

Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist, said the improvement bodes well for home prices. “Absorption of inventory is the key to price improvement, and this solid gain in contract signings implies that home values in many localities are or will soon be stabilizing as inventories get absorbed at a faster pace,” he said. “Some markets have made a rapid turnaround, going from soft activity to contract signings rising by more than 30 percent from a year ago, including areas such as Hartford, Conn.; Indianapolis; Minneapolis; Houston; and Seattle.”

I do not understand why people who already have enough money are becoming greedier day by day. Most of the frauds & scams you hear about are related to a person at a higher position in the society. Very truly said, the more you get the greedier you become.
